Huge congratulations to Alexey Galda, Jason Dodunski, and Ali Asker who shared the podium. Our own Luke Rogers would have taken gold by a comfortable margin were it not for a 50% lane penalty he suffered early in the comp. Luke still managed to climb back to 4th overall, narrowly missing the podium and winning the Speed event with a 301kmh run.
Overall, 9 out of the top 10 pilots flew the CR+. SQRL pilots swept the Speed and Distance podiums, and took first and second place in the Time task.
In the team division, Kuwait won gold, USA took silver, with Australia taking bronze.
A massive congratulations to Team Kuwait - this was their first world event, and they put up impressive scores across the board. Definitely a crew to keep an eye on.
In the Female category Amelia Dunaway took Gold and Tatjana Maksudov took silver, both flying the CR+ Worlds edition.
