CREATURE 2
HIGH-PERFORMANCE DYNAMIC FREESTYLE

  • C-Race series performance with Freak agility
  • New refined inlets, arm profile, & foot cup
  • New airfoil cross section foam + race foam option
  • Highest performance freestyle suit... ever?
  • Excels in dynamic high speed formations, XRW, camera work, etc.
DETAILS

The Creature launched a new class of wingsuit. It was born from the question, "how much is enough?", to which the answer is always: "Just a little bit more." For the Creature 2, we have not added surface area and not increased size. Instead, we refined the profile and inlets and foot cups to reduce drag and increase agility. The essential character of the Creature is unchanged. It remains a powerful freestyle suit with more speed, agility, flare, and power than anything in its class.

Like its predecessor, the Creature 2 loves huge, fast, flowing lines. Big dives into flares and low-G rollovers are insanely fun. Building tight high speed formations that go for many miles is what this suit was born to do... This is what the CREATURE is for.

If you are trying to decide between the Freak and the Creature, please watch this video. The Creature will satisfy pilots who need more surface area than the Freak series offers, and anyone wanting to do the biggest and most dynamic movements.

FEATURES

MONOCHAMBER DESIGN

All sections of all wings are fed by any and all of the eight inlets on the top and bottom surfaces. The suit feels incredibly consistent across the entire span in all maneuvers.

defaultImage

UNIQUE PROFILE

Not quite as symmetric as the Freak series, the Creature's profile is an evolution of the C-Race. The Creature 2 has improved backfly speed and feels more balanced from back to belly. It has more flare on its back than most suits do on the belly.

defaultImage

CARBON FIBER GAS PEDALS

First used in our race suits, this optional carbon fiber insert increases lengthwise tension in the suit. Easily install the plates for more power and precision. The Creature 2 uses a narrower foot cup design, for reduced drag.

defaultImage

HIGH ASPECT RATIO INLETS

The new High-AR Inlet builds on the industry-changing innovation of our 3D inlet, with improved intake efficiency and less drag. The Creature 2 has the most recent evolution of this inlet.

defaultImage

CARBON END CELL GRIPPER

An evolution of our integrated profile gripper, the carbon end cell allows quick hand placement transfers when transitioning from back to belly. It also increases lifting surface without significantly increasing the total surface area of the suit.

defaultImage

NEW SEAMLESS LEADING EDGE

Our proprietary leading edge Glide Skin now wraps more of the forward wing chord for reduced drag at a critical area of the wing.

defaultImage

CUSTOM INTERNAL PRESSURE

Airtight zippers... All of our suits allow you to choose the amount of internal pressure in the arm wings. Choose from full pressure for maximum performance, or reduce it for easier maneuvering in acro / freestyle flight.

defaultImage

AIRFOIL CROSS SECTION

In 2024 we changed to a denser and more durable arm foam, and we are now offering the "Race" (thicker and more robust foam) option for the Creature 2. The removable airfoil cross section adds glide and speed performance and increases agility and range in any suit that it is added to. More information on leading edge foam.

defaultImage

QUICK-ZIP ATTACHMENT

The new Quick-Zip system more durable and easier to use, making suit-rigging fast and easy. The adjustable lateral slot accommodates a range of harness types and sizes.

defaultImage

EVOLV TRAX RUBBER BASE SOLE

The new TRAX Super Sticky BASE Sole has been developed in cooperation with Evolv, a leading climbing shoe manufacturer. The tread pattern is designed specifically for exit force traction, and the rubber is sticky in all conditions: wet, dry, warm, and cold.

MAGSNAPS

New magnet snaps require no pressing action to attach and securely lock together until they are intentionally lifted upwards to separate. Sometimes it's the little things...

MATERIALS

MAIN SURFACES

Our main surface fabric is a 210D Rip-stop, with low stretch and an ideal rigidity-to-comfort ratio. Its balance of weight / durability, along with mechanical stability and tear strength, makes it the perfect mid-weight material for wingsuits.

LEADING EDGE MATERIAL

Proprietary SQRL GlideSkin: This smooth, finely textured leading edge material delivers glide performance and is wrinkle-memory-resistant.

INTERNAL RIBS

The Creature 2 rib material varies across the span. Lightweight sail cloth ribs support the thicker section of the profile, with mesh used in thinner areas where crossports are less ideal.

ZIPPERS

SQRL wingsuits are constructed with the strongest and highest quality zippers available. Locking YKK 10C zips are used on the main body, harness-interface, and arm sections of every suit we make.

CREATURE REVIEWS

"I love it! The speed, pressurization and power of the C-Race with the versatility of the Freak, pretty sick on its back (lots of power!), and the transitions are nice since the suit stays pressurized during the whole trajectory. You can feel the Mono-Chamber."

"I said a yeeeeeehaw. Anyone who has been a Freak pilot over the years is going to say this is exactly what they were hoping for in the future, but they will still want a Freak. I think this suit is a fantastic blend of race characteristics and the agility that has been the mark of the Freak. I would really like to fly with another one because I never really felt like I could give her my all with Plamer in his Freak4 or Noah in his C3.

We will no doubt extend our range of possibilities with a platform like this Bad MamaJama. Flock and rolls, push throughs, and hammer heads, plus so much more, will be insane in this… especially with all the extra juice.

She’s not too clunky for acro and throwing it around. It will just spit you out a bit more if you’re not as precise with keeping your head in the game. It's for Freak pilots who have ever wanted to try a C-Race but were worried they wouldn't use it super often. "

"I now have 33 jumps on my Creature. This suit rocks. It did take a few jumps for me to adjust to it. (I am still getting a feel for it). I have 448 jumps on my Freak 4. Going to the Creature from the Freak 4 was definitely a big step. (it says 175 jumps needed for the Freak 4 and Creature on your web page, my opinion would be that the Creature needs more jump experience then the Freak) This suit is way more powerful. I love how fast it is on its belly. The transitions are very easy and the head down is so smooth. My favorite part of the suit are the grippers. I just love how they feel, especially when I am backflying the suit. The Creature on its back feels like a pillow, soft and fluffy..lol. I am so impressed with the power and range. My jumps are easily longer by at least 30 seconds or more. The most noticeable thing is the HUGE flares that this suit can do. The Creature has definitely raised the bar and opened the door for us to do some new things.

Thank you"

"I braved 108+ degree temps this weekend to take my new Creature for a spin, and I think it says a lot that after each flight, I was immediately ready to tempt heatstroke again just to get in another. This thing is immensely fun to fly. Impressive glide and range (combined with a surprising nimbleness for its size) means that it's just begging for big, flowing lines in every orientation. It's on rails at high speeds and steep angles too; the Freak and C-Race heritage is readily apparent. Most importantly, the Creature gives you the power to subject your friends to a truly comical amount of burble, a feature I expect to employ frequently. Oh, and it also looks really, really pretty, but your eyeballs may need earplugs."

"The Creature has absolutely blown my mind!! Very very fast. I’m so stoked with the speed and also with the transitions!! The back flying is really, really comfortable!! I think it is for me the masterpiece. It brings together all the qualities I’ve wanted, into one suit!!. I am very amazed and grateful for your efforts and dedication in creating such spectacular Wingsuits. Thank you so much. Cheers from Spain!!"

"I absolutely love it! The custom pattern is amazing and really unique, I’ve had plenty of compliments at the flight line! It flies great and coming from the O.G. ATC, I’ve noticed a big difference, mainly with the MonoChamber and the feeling of rigid inflation in the suit. Transitions have been smooth and easy and overall the suit has been great fun to fly! The grippers are great and I love how they end up being easy to place your hands once flying. "

"Ohhhh my, this suit is dope as hell!! Transitions from belly to back at high and low speeds feel easy and smooth, the power it has on its back is incredible and so fun! The extra flare power makes it easier for throwing flips and all the fun tricks you can think of. The range it has over the Freak4 is pretty crazy. This suit is next level!!! Love it!! You guys built a weapon of a suit"

"After putting quite some flights on the Creature, skydive and base, here's my first impression:

I'm coming from a few seasons on a freak 3 that I absolutely loved. I was expecting a similar feel with different grippers and I was wrong (in a good way). I was quickly surprised by the power of the suit. It wants to fly much faster and I love that. The grippers are really nice. They make accro more comfy so I love them for skydiving. I still love the suit for base. The starts I get are similar to the freak 3 but slightly less short (still very decent...). The monochambre is really nice for all disciplines I think! All in all it's a really awesome suit and I'm super stoked with it. It does definitely require more precision than a freak and I would advise anyone who is considering to get one to be REALLY comfortable with a freak before investing in a creature."
